El estudio se hizo sobre una muestra representativa compuesta por pequeñas industrias, pertenecientes al sector metal mecánico ubicado en la ciudad de Quito. La tesis presenta los pasos y requerimientos necesarios para crear una empresa prototipo que para nuestro caso se denominó Corporación Tecnológica para el desarrollo la empresa ofrece servicios de consultoría para Automatización, calidad total y re ingeniería, Finalmente se plantea un metodología para realizar consultorías, la misma que se puso a prueba en tres industrias de la muestra escogida, siendo sus resultados satisfactoriosScope and content: The thesis is a study that allows to establish the feasibility of creating a consulting service company, demonstrating its profitability in financial, economic and social terms. The study was made on a representative sample made up of small industries, belonging to the metal mechanic sector located in the city of Quito. The thesis presents the steps and requirements necessary to create a prototype company that for our case was called Technological Corporation for development the company offers consulting services for Automation, total quality and re-engineering, finally a methodology is proposed to carry out consultancies, the same that was tested in three industries of the chosen sample, with satisfactory results
